REVIEW: FALL BACK SKYWARD AND BREAKING GRAVITY BY AUTUMN GREY

Hi guys, how are you? I hope so
Pleasure, Nay and Welcome to the blog!

For the post today I will do a review about two books but of the same author, simply enchanted my heart. I hope you enjoy.

Eleven years ago, I saved her. I loved her. But they took me away from her and locked me up. For two years, all I could think about was her. She consumed me. Took up every room in my head and gave me something to focus on, knowing I would see her soon.
Nine years ago, I watched her as she walked down the aisle and into the arms of a man who wasn't me. My brother. I left my home and never looked back.
Now, I'm staring at seven letters, each envelope stamped with one word in bold, red ink: URGENT.
I have no choice but to go back home. Seeing her will be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But in order to reconcile with my past, I have to face my present. Even if the thought of seeing her, knowing that she is out of my reach, kills me.
I have no idea what awaits me, but I can only hope that the demons of my past will finally be buried and put to rest.

In Fall Back Skyward we know that something happened to Cole being a broken man and utterly disappointed in love. For some letters, he needs to return to his hometown. But when Cole has to come back he discovers that much is no longer the same, as his brother who married the love of his life. So he needs to decide if the woman he loves one day is still there. In an interspersed narrative, we know the young characters and everything that happened to make them separate and how only their love would change everything they know.

Although the premise is small, it is a story made about layers and more layers, both of their past and present, as we discover more about the layers that exist. Let us be more curious to know all more deeply.

''I’ve seen the inside of hell, battled my demons and clawed my way into the light. Every scar on my skin has a story to tell. Every scar makes me who I am today. A survivor. Eleanor Blake''
This whole book is an avalanche of feelings, already on the first page feels that this book will not be an easy reading, because it has conflicting feelings and a huge and equable love.
The author's narrative is beautiful and amazing, it makes us enter the plot completely and identify with the characters in an unparalleled way.
The author explores many important themes to be discussed in society, but mainly explores the human mind and things related to it. Which leaves the book, deeper and more sentimental.
This book is of the kind that passes all we feel possible through words and transcending what is written in a more beautiful way.
''Waiting for her every night has become an addiction to me and I can’t shake it off. She fascinates me, this girl, for reasons I cannot explain. What does she see when she stares at the sky? ''
The author works very well with the main and secondary characters knowing how to exploit them very well. The characters above all are human and real, each of them is different in a way that we wanted to be there with them in every fight they pass. I super recommend reading, you will not regret it.
“Your body is like my guide. I know where to touch you or kiss you by watching how you react to me and listening to what my hands tell me. I touch you the way I want to be touched.”
Although if I've finished reading it for some time now, the book just doesn't come out of my head. I got so excited about the characters that it's hard to say goodbye. The book is much more than a mere reading, but it is a new remedy and many lessons I will take to life.
In Fall Back skyward we have a charming and strong relationship, which show us how to go through difficulties and still find a happy ending.

I've always followed my dreams with ruthless determination. My life was going well. Success was at my fingertips.Until it wasn't.All it took was three seconds to send my world crashing down around me, ripping my dreams to shreds. Then I meet her, with her large hazel eyes that slay me at first glance. And everything starts to make sense again.I try to keep my distance. To remind myself I am her mentor. That we can't be more,
but every time I push away, I'm pulled deeper into her.The line between student and teacher is blurring.
One kiss.
One taste.
They’re all it would take to cross the line.

In Breaking Gravity we know Elon, Nor's sister, from the previous book. We can see how not only Nor was affected by his past, but also his entire family.
On the other side, we know Nate, a guy who suffers terribly to this day, for his past. As an attempt to heal himself, he decides to teach, but since it wouldn't be so easy, Elon ends up in his class. What would be just to be something simple becomes much more complicated.

As in the previous book, the author works with many layers of events and feelings. Because a simple event is not just an event, it can have irreversible consequences, and we can read more about it in the book.

''The last thought that fills my head before my world turns dark is that heroes are supposed to do everything to save lives. I’ve let her down. All it took was three seconds to bring my world crashing down around me. I’m no one’s hero.''
Both characters carry a very strong emotional burden, and the author knows very well to develop them in a real and enigmatic way. I simply fell in love with Elon and Nate, with the passage of the book we began to know them more and only conquer us more and more.

The Elon we can see a bit in the previous book and so was excited to read about it, a girl who loves music and her life. Despite many stumps in life she always tries to move on and fights to the end for what she believes in. Nate has a profound pain and sees how it affected him is devastating to the reader because we can feel everything that happened to him, but it is very beautiful to see how in the course of the book he will heal from his deepest wounds.

''As if sensing me, his eyes fly open and find mine, and for just a second, I see something in their depths that has my heart stalling. It’s gone before I can figure it out. Storm chases the pain and his cheeks flush. Obviously, the thought of being found experiencing a human emotion annoys him, given that look on his face. He narrows his eyes at me, and my heartbeat accelerates.''
It's a lighter book than the previous one, but with the same incredible quality as the author. I felt that this book has a quicker narrative than the previous one, for the speed I read, Breaking Gravity just surrendered me until I couldn't stop reading anymore. The author's narrative and writing is certainly one of the most beautiful ones I have ever read, it is always very clear and captured with everything, not to mention the feelings that she can pass with the words. No doubt a talented artist.
''I grew up believing there was no such thing as happily ever after, but I met a man who blew that theory out of the water. He made me believe that anything is possible. Amber once told me if I reached for the stars, everything else would fall into place. I did, and now I’m living my kind of fairy tale with Nate by my side.''
Braking Gravity is a book that you will not stop reading until you reach the last page. It's a book about recommence and especially when we let love come in and change us in the most beautiful way you exit.
Both books will stay in my heart, and I'm dying to read the upcoming books of Autumn Grey. These are books that are going to leave you out of breath. You'll fall in love and want to read again
.
About the Author
''Autumn Grey is a hopeless romantic and loves stories with HEA. She is the author of the Havoc series (Havoc, Obliterate, Mend), Fall Back Skyward and Breaking Gravity. And just like her characters, she is quirky, sometimes funny and definitely flawed. She writes sexy contemporary romances full of drama, steamy kisses and happy ever afters.''
